Step into the delightfully macabre world of The Addams Family Musical, presented by the Jackson County Community Theatre! Based on Charles Addams legendary cartoons, this original stage production tells the tale of the beloved and spooky Addams clan where everything unusual is embraced, and family is everything.
Wednesday Addams, the ultimate princess of darkness, has grown up and fallen in love with Lucas Beineke, a sweet, normal young man from a respectable family. His parents have never met the Addamses, and Wednesday begs her father, Gomez, not to tell her mother about the relationship. As the Beinekes make their way to the Addams mansion for a fateful dinner, secrets emerge, loyalties are tested, and love takes on new, unexpected forms.
Full of witty humor, original songs, startlingly creative costumes, and unforgettable characters (from the lovestruck Uncle Fester to the ominous but lovable butler Lurch), The Addams Family Musical is a comical feast embracing the weirdness in every family. Will the Addamses and the Beinekes survive a night of revelation or will normalcy tear them apart?
