IN THE KITCHEN WITH A KNIFE
IN THE KITCHEN WITH A KNIFE is an interactive murder mystery that asks the audience to decide who killed Telly, a snitch who works in the kitchen. The play has three possible endings, depending on how each audience votes.
Written by Deborah Tobola and Dylan O'Harra, IN THE KITCHEN WITH A KNIFE is directed by Leslie Carson and features a cast of veteran Poetic Justice Project actors, including Roger Brown, Leonard Flippen, Jorge Manly Gil, Caroline Taylor-Hitch and Maux Samuel.
The only theatre company of its kind in the state, Poetic Justice Project features casts of formerly incarcerated actors in theatre that examines crime, punishment and redemption.
Based in Santa Maria, Poetic Justice Project is a program of the award-winning William James Association, which provides arts instruction to people on parole and probation, prisoners, and youth at risk of incarceration.
