Tara Beier & Her Band Mourning Doves of Joshua Tree Live at Whisky A Go Go
Experience a powerful night of music and storytelling with Canadian-American singer-songwriter Tara Beier, performing live with her band at Whisky A Go Go on Thursday, September 11, 2025. Her new album Mourning Doves of Joshua Tree hailed as one of the best albums of the year by Guitar Girl Magazine blends cinematic folk and alt-Americana with raw emotional honesty and poetic depth.
Written in the Mojave Desert while grieving the loss of her grandmother and navigating early motherhood after a near-death childbirth, the album is a moving meditation on grief, rebirth, and feminine strength. With production by Steve Stout (Lifehouse), Beiers music channels the spirit of Neil Young, the tenderness of Mazzy Star, and the vision of a new generation of folk artists. Featured in Rolling Stone, Paste, and Billboard, Beier is redefining what it means to be a mother, artist, and truth-teller.
The evening will also include performances by Deadicated Project (Grateful Dead Tribute), Dillin Helsley, Amanda Rosen, Marcellus Love, and Luana Sandoval.
All proceeds from this show will be donated to the Palestine Childrens Relief Fund (PCRF)
to support humanitarian aid for children and families in Gaza.
