Join the City of Boulder's Office of Arts and Culture for a special edition of our popular public art walking toursthis time designed specifically for the blind and visually impaired community. These free 1.5-hour tactile tours will highlight the history, artists, and stories behind downtown Boulder's diverse public artworks, with enhanced verbal descriptions and touchable elements where possible.
Participants will experience sculptures, murals, and urban design features through rich sensory engagement and guided exploration, supported by trained facilitators. Whether youre a longtime Boulderite or visiting for the first time, this tour offers a unique, accessible way to connect with the citys cultural landscape.

Starting Location
Corner of 17th and Pearl Street. Tours end near the downtown Boulder Farmers Market.
Registration
Free, but required for all participants.
If your desired date is full, email publicart@bouldercolorado.gov with the subject "Waitlist" and specify which date youd like to attend.
Tours may be canceled if fewer than two participants register or in the event of inclement weather. Registered attendees will be notified.
