smARTfilms: SOUND OF NOISE
BIMA smARTfilms series fosters community conversation through the merger of visual art, film, and narrative. After the screening, our host and guest(s) will initiate a discussion about the film and its art. All are welcome to participate in an open exchange of ideas during these post-film discussions.
SOUND OF NOISE - In this recently released Swedish absurdist comedy, situations, props and circumstance demand both a second look and listen. Police officer Amadeus Warnebring was born into a musical family with a long history of famous musicians. Ironically, he hates music. His life is thrown into chaos when a band of crazy musicians decides to perform a musical apocalypse using the city as their orchestra. Reluctantly, Warnebring takes the case. A hosted discussion will follow the film.
The BIMA Bistro will stay open until 7pm in advance of the screening for food and small bites.
