Walker's Point Food Crawl (Milwaukee WI)

MKEfoodies, Milwaukee Food & City Tours, and OnMilwaukee.com would like to invite you to join us to experience the delicious, revitalized community of Historic Walkers Point and South 2nd Street.

Saturday, May 31, 2014 from 11 am to 3 pm

Attendees will have the opportunity to stroll through the Historic Walker's Point neighborhood at their own pace tasting delicious small plates from some of Milwaukee's finest restaurants and food venues. Participating locations include Black Sheep, Braise, c. 1880, Chez Jacques, Clock Shadow Creamery, Indulgence Chocolatiers, Purple Door Ice Cream, Steny's, Wayward Kitchen and Zak's Cafe!

We'll be hosting a Bloody Mary promo for guests who arrive between 11 a.m. - 11:30 a.m. for the food crawl. For each admission sold, attendees will be eligible for one free Bloody Mary sample from Blue Jacket. Bloody Mary tickets must be redeemed before 12:00 p.m. on May 31, 2014 and cannot be redeemed for food plates.

NEW in 2014: The first 50 ticket-holders to arrive for the food crawl will receive a swag bag filled with great offers and promotions from neighborhood establishments, including a gift card valued between $10 - $100 toward any Milwaukee Food & City Tours outing.

Limited tickets may be available onsite beginning at 11:00 am on Saturday, May 31, 2014. Go to the registration tent at Blue Jacket to purchase. Blue Jacket is at 135 E. National Avenue, Milwaukee WI.

PRICING:
Silver Plate - includes 7 small plates for $50
Gold Plate - includes 12 small plates for $75
(FYI - If you would like, you can share a plate/divide the vouchers between guests.)

ADDITIONAL INFORMATION:
Vegetarian items will be options; please be sure to indicate that you are a vegetarian during the Check Out process.

Suggestions for safe, free and low-cost parking options will be made to you at the time of purchase.

While the event is kid-friendly, please note that it is not stroller friendly. Many of the establishments are in older buildings, and strollers need to be lifted up stairs.

Upon check-in, attendees will receive their small plate vouchers and a map of participating restaurants, which span a 1.5 mile stretch of Walker's Point, concentrated on South 2nd Street.

One complimentary Bloody Mary sample per purchase is provided; ticket must be claimed by 11:30 am and must be redeemed by Noon on May 31, 2014. Although additional beverages are not included with the cost of the ticket, restaurants will be offering drink specials for attendees.

A variety of plates will be designed by the participating restaurants a list of offerings will be provided 2 days prior to the event via email to all pre-registrants.
