The Historical Society of Rockland Count Invites You to Join Us for a Bus Daytrip to
The Vanderbilt Mansion at Hyde Park and Beekman Arms in Rhinebeck
When: Friday, October 24, 2025 Where: Leaves the Historical Society of Rockland County parking lot at 20 Zukor Road, New City, at 8:20 am and returns to the HSRC at 4:00 pm (rain or shine) Price: HSRC Members, $149 per person; Nonmembers, $159 per person (Includes admissions and tour fees, tips, and lunch at Fraunces Tavern)
This Gilded Age mansion on the Hudson River in Hyde Park was the lavish country home of Frederick and Louise Vanderbilt from 1896 to 1938. The approximately 45,000-square-foot mansion contains 54 rooms and has six floors. The tour will take us to three floors of the house.
Well have time to explore the gardens before heading to the scenic town of Rhinebeck for lunch at the Beekman Arms, a tavern dating back to the eighteenth century. After lunch there will be time to shop in the antiques barn on the site or to stroll through the village.

Cancellation Policy: Please note that refunds can be given only if your space can be filled by another guest prior to trip. A waiting list will be compiled, and available spaces will be filled on a first come, first served basis. Only those with who have made full payment can be accommodated.
