Poser Productions Presents: An Evening with Alain Johannes and Mark Pickerel
Legendary artist. Intimate setting. One unforgettable night for a cause.
Join us on Sunday, July 20, for a rare, private performance by Alain Johannes, the renowned songwriter, guitarist, and producer whose work with Eleven, Chris Cornell, No Doubt, Mark Lanegan, and Queens of the Stone Age helped define the sound of a generation.
Also performing is Mark Pickerel, celebrated solo artist and founding member of Screaming Trees, Truly, and Mark Pickerel and His Praying Hands. His evocative songwriting and deep roots in the Pacific Northwest scene make this an especially meaningful set.
Guiding us through the evening will be emcee Cathy Faulkner, Seattle radio personality and longtime champion of the Northwest music scene.
Held in the private home of Lara Hruska with limited capacity, this is your chance to experience Alain's music up close while supporting a grassroots project built on storytelling, portraiture, and community connection.
As Many Weirdos As Possible honors the people and places that shaped the PNW music scene from 1985 to 1995; AMWAP preserves and celebrates personal and cultural histories through photographic portraiture, storytelling, and community events, we believe in the power of a single image paired with a handwritten memory to honor lives, legacies, and the places that shape them, connecting personal memory to broader cultural history.
Enjoy catered bites, an open bar, great company, a silent auction, and never-before-seen portraits and stories from the project.
Please do not forward this invite.
All contributions support the continuation of the AMWAP project. Can't attend? You can still donate here: https://shunpike.org/artist/poser-productions/
Poser Productions is fiscally sponsored by Shunpike (EIN #91-2138554)
We can't wait to share this night with you.
