Join us at Cabrillo Horticulture from 12 - 4 on Saturday July 12th. Celebrate the past, present, and future of Cabrillo Horticulture! Eat lunch, reminisce with old friends, tour the department, and be merry! Lunch is buffet, self-serve anytime. Program with speakers at 1pm. Self-guided tour stops open from 2 - 4. Seed planting and temporary tattoo stations for kids. We would like a speaker from each decade to tell a 2 - 3 minute story of their experience at Cabrillo Horticulture. If you are interested in being a speaker please email Sarah at sahulick@cabrillo.edu and let me know which years you were at Cabrillo Hort. Confirmed attendance by Rich and Dida Merrill and Peter and Jan Shaw.
Please share widely and this is a ticketed event. Please be generous with your ticket purchase so that current students do not have to pay. Tickets are on a sliding scale from $0 - $1,000. Any amount over $20 is considered a contribution through the Cabrillo College Foundation, a 501c3 and you will receive a contribution letter post event.
All contributions over $20 will go towards our Native Plant Landscape Renovation Project to transform the front of the Horticulture Classroom Building. We've already put in new flagstone paths. You can help us complete this project and improve the learning environment and ecosystem of Cabrillo Horticulture!
Thank you and we're excited to celebrate with you, our Cabrillo Horticulture Community!
The entire parking lot will designated for Disability Placard parking and pick up and drop off of other guests. Everyone else please park at the bottom of the hill and walk up. Please DO NOT bring animals to our food production facility. This is not a dog friendly event.
