The struggle to reconcile the real and ideal is an ongoing conundrum for both artist and activist.
Bury Marcos is an attempt to exhume, examine and ultimately bury Marcos legacy, and those martyred under his ruleand exorcise the collective trauma of those that live in the wake of his regime.

Writer/performer Samantha Chanse presents a comedy with embedded tragedy: a solo play within a play about a family dinner derailed and the role of the performing artist. Appearing at first to be a rollick of sorts--incorporating standup comedy, music, and visual elements--the play evolves into a simple but moving tale about the relationship between a father and daughter.
