Faye Driscoll: Thank You For Coming: Attendance
Faye Driscoll is a Bessie Award-winning choreographer and director known for her irreverent mix of dance, theater, and performance where the live theatrical experience is investigated, exploited, and revered.
In Thank you for Coming: Attendance, the premiere iteration of a larger series of works, choreographer Faye Driscoll heightens the ritual of performance to examine how our bodies and stories relate to and depend on one another - individuals come together to make something bigger than the sum of their parts. Created in collaboration with the five performers and the design team, Thank You For Coming: Attendance imagines a space in which we are all participants in the co-creation of our reality, and asks how performance can create a space of group action and transformation.
