2 SHOWS - MAY 30 & 31
Dancing While Black: Collective(s) Action
Featuring new performance works by Rashida Bumbray/Dance Diaspora Collective, Ebony Noelle Golden/Betty's Daughter Arts Collaborative and Adia Whitaker/Ase Dance Theater Collective. The weekend, produced by Paloma McGregor/Angela's Pulse and BAAD!, in partnership with Human Rights Project at Urban Justice Center and Urban Bush Women, will also include a pre-show panel discussion at 6:30 p.m. on Friday, addressing collectivism and community in black aesthetics, as well as a full day of Master Classes on Saturday.
