Session 3: SW Washington Business Sustainability Breakfast Series
Finding Efficiencies: Sustainable Solutions for your Buildings
A quarterly breakfast series discussing sustainable business practices. Presented by ShoreBank Pacific in partnership with the City of Vancouver and the Columbia River Economic Development Council (CREDC).
Our third session will feature Elaine Aye, Principal, Green Building Services (GBS), an agency providing LEED-certification approval for the US Green Building Services. GBS provides leadership and consulting services in every stage of a building's life cycle; from the initial development of green building goals to the post-occupancy existence of a building. Ms. Aye's presentation will identify the easiest and least expensive modifications that building owners/lease holders can make to improve the efficiency and performance of their buildings.
Time will be provided for an overview of recent legislation passed in Washington State, including sustainability initiatives, tax credits, and additional incentive programs.
