What can you do at home? The Power of Listening in Parenting with Priya Saaral
Listening is a powerful parenting tool that benefits both children and parents. However, when life gets busy and stress builds up, it becomes harder to truly listento our children, our partners, and even ourselves.
In this interactive workshop, Priya will share big-picture strategies for supporting our kids at home, the importance of community and support for parents, and a practical tool you can practice during the session and use at home.
Along the way, she will introduce a structured parent-to-parent listening model designed to help parents manage overwhelm, reduce emotional triggers, and improve their ability to listen with patience and understanding.
Priya Saaral is a local play therapist and founder of Play It Out! in Kirkland, where she offers therapy to kids and consultations with parents. She is also a Hand in Hand parenting instructor and author of Parenting at the Intersections: Raising Neurodivergent Children of Color.
Priya is compassionate, engaging, and full of great insights. Youll gain valuable ways to support your familyall while connecting with each other and maybe having some fun along the way!
Join us to learn, practice, and strengthen this essential skill!
