Teatro Calamari
The name is funny, and so is the show: puppetry, comedy and physical theatre, woven into a whimsical and innovative theatre experience for the entire family, led by Emmy-Award winning puppeteer Tim Giugni. In a fractured-fairytale variation on the classic story of Rapunzel, everything-puppets, stage and props-all made from objects found from around the house. Brooms become handsome princes. Mops transform into the wickedest of witches, and bathroom plungers save the day. A sweepingly unconventional puppet show that plunges in where others are afraid to go.
