An Evening of Guitar and Piano: a Unique Combination
Western Slopes favorite guitarist Javier de los Santos returns to the Western Slope Concert Series, this time collaborating with pianist Kathryn Mientka Farruggia.Together they will perform the virtuoso guitar/piano Grand Duo Concertant by Moscheles and Guiliani, and the beautiful Fantasia by Castel-nuovo-Tedesco. Guitar solos, including the hauntingly beautiful Asturias, and piano solos will fill out this romantic and exciting program. Javier has performed internationally and teaches guitar at CMU.
