Chrisman, Smith, & Lovejoy
Simon Chrisman, Jenika Smith, and Andrew Lovejoy will perform a selection of traditional, contemporary, and original acoustic music. Their music draws on a diverse swath of musical traditions including bluegrass, jazz, fiddle tunes, old time, country, and blues.
Simon Chrisman is best known for his mastery of the hammered dulcimer, but he is a talented multi-instrumentalist and has performed with many luminaries of the acoustic music world, including Darol Anger, Bruce Molsky, Mike Marshall, Laurie Lewis and Seamus Egan. He currently tours with The Jeremy Kittel Band and Tony Furtado. A native of the Pacific Northwest, he currently resides in Ashland, OR.
Jenika Smith is a singer, songwriter, and multi-instrumentalist based in Ashland, OR. Growing up in a musical family, music is in her blood and she has collaborated with numerous musicians around the Ashland area.
Andrew Lovejoy is a singer, songwriter and mandolinist based in Washington state.
