(SOLD OUT) Pig Roast at Paumanok Vineyards
(SOLD OUT) Slow Food Local Heroes, Chef Galen Zamarra, of New York City's Mas (Farmhouse) restaurant, and Kareem Massoud, of the North Fork's Paumanok Vineyards, are getting together to throw a Pig Roast at the vineyard on Sunday September 17th (rain or shine) from 4:00 pm to 8:00 pm.
The afternoon will start with a vineyard and winery tour led by proprieter and renowned winemaker, Charles Massoud. Afterwards, eaters will greet the guest of honor, a heritage breed pig roasted to succulent perfection by Chef Galen. Gelen's roast pig will be preceded by local oysters and clams and accompanied by the best East End produce. And throughout, Kareem will pour the much awarded wines of Paumanok Vineyards.
Eaters from NYC can get to and from Aquebogue via the Hampton Jitney.
