Healing Unresolved Birth Experiences in Babies and Children
Unfortunately, mothers' experiences giving birth are often not ideal. Unexpected outcomes, feeling out of control or disempowered can lead to residual grief, postpartum depression, unmet needs, guilt, or PTSD symptoms that can be experienced for years.
Please join us at this remarkable, one-day workshop that provides an opportunity to come together with other moms to address unresolved issues (in both mother and baby), and leave with tools to work with at home! Dr. McCarty's experience helping moms and babies to heal these wounds has revealed the potential for truly elegant transformation and relief. The day will include:
AM:
* Prenatal and Perinatal Psychology: new understandings and implications for families * Addressing mothers' experiences and aftermath * Tapas Acupressure Technique (TAT) group healing for mothers
PM:
* Understanding more about baby's formative experiences and aftermath * TAT group healing for child's prenatal, birth, or newborn experiences * Tools to work with at home for the whole family
*This workshop is appropriate for mothers only. Participants are asked to have babies and children cared for outside the group workshop.
