Mother's Day Womb Honoring & Celebration
There was a time when our ancestors recognized the womb as sacred - the vessel of new life - the channel of divine, creative energy - the seat of a woman's feminine power.
Sadly, the feminine principle has become devalued and suppressed.
Please join us at this gathering women to acknowledge the experiences of women and to remember the knowledge and wisdom we have always held deep within us. SEE WEBSITE FOR FULL DESCRIPTION.
This is a time for YOU. Ideally, you should be the only person you need to take care of at the event.
SUGGESTIONS:
* Bring a reading or poem if you have one you'd like to share.
* Contribute a dish to the community meal.
* Wear something that connects you with your Divine Feminine.
* Bring a stone/crystal that you are wiling to release in a womb clearing, an exercise shared by Sobonfu Some in Women's Wisdom from the Heart of Africa .
Special guests include:
Kim Hart - who has lived and studied in Central America with the elders of the Maya, will share ancient womb wisdom from the Mayan culture.
Barbara McAfee - an amazingly gifted singer/songwriter who, when leading women in finding their voice, allows everyone to join with in becoming a channel for unbridled joy, empowerment and FUN!
