WARP Springs a Gnu
Ten original short plays and skits by Seattle area writers will spring you out of your winter torpor and into the wild and wacky world of WARP. Animals escape from their cages, tramps escape from the cops, middle-aged men wonder about ways to escape this life, and other characters escape from reality into various degrees of absurdity. Running time is about 90 minutes with one intermission.
Take a ramble through the imaginations of writers Scot Bastian, Patty Carlson, Ellen Covey, Josie De Lellis, Len Goodisman, Jim Fox (his debut work), Jeremy January, Chris Mathews, Monty Saasen, and director John Paul Sharp.
Performances are Saturday May 10 at 8:00 PM, Sunday May 11 at 2:00 PM, Saturday May 17 at 8:00 PM and Sunday May 18 at 2:00 PM at Theatre Puget Sound Theatre 4 on the 4th floor of the Armory (formerly Center House) at the Seattle Center.
Tickets are $10 general admission.
