Michelle Cowie and Rebecca Seary, two local women who have been involved with the Paladar many times and in many ways, are tag teaming this special event. Together they have prepared food for crowds of adoring companions. Tables filled with laughter and mouth watering feasts are the things that happen when these two pair up. Get ready for a Middle Eastern fusion dinner prepared lovingly by two very special women.

News of the upcoming Paladar is traveling fast!  The Outside Inn is even doing a contest for some lucky member to win a free seat with one purchased seat!  How fun is that?  And now, Ladies and Gentlemen!  Drum roll please.

We are going local again!  Our May chefs are just like you and me!  They are passionate about food, how it comes to us, how it is prepared, and how it is on the tongue!  The Paladar has never failed in bringing our town meals that we might not otherwise get to have.  Each one has been lovingly created, whether by a famous country wide food artist or by our neighbors who have dared to dive into the experience of catering to many many Paladar members.  I am so excited that these two have made the leap towards this truly rewarding experience of sharing their love of food with us!

A little about our chefs:

Michelle Cowie has been making amazing food for large groups of people for years.  Not trained by any school or organization of culinary arts as some of our chefs have been, but trained by an inner drive to learn and experiment with flavors on her own, Michelle has made incredible dishes of all kinds.  I have found that the term "chef" can really describe anyone who loves the art of food and flavor.  Michelle is definitely one of those! I have been lucky enough to have sat at her table at least twice in my life.  One of which, she tagged teamed with our other may chef, Rebecca Seary.  That night they focused on Italian cuisine.  I can't even remember how many courses they sat in front of us!  They were ALL exquisite!  Rebecca has been studying Middle Eastern cuisine for years.  She even had one of the largest banquets of ethnic foods I have ever seen at her own wedding!   Her food is well thought out, beautiful, and delicious.   Rebecca has served at the Paladar multiple times and has also served as a kitchen staff to Samantha Hinrichs who was our "Greek Easter" chef many moons ago.  Rebecca is a wonderful human, a creator of beauty in many forms, and an adventuresome food maker.  I always eat whatever turns up in her kitchen with passion and gusto!  She never fails!  Together Michelle and Rebecca are going to wow all who dare to dine at The Desert Rose.

Remember to pay heed to which seating you are securing seats to and as always, there are no refunds.  Vegetarians most welcome!

Lastly, we are having a rare appearance of one of the most talented dancers in our county join us from Damkianna Dance Company, Airakah Bottolfson!  Her mesmerizing moves will get you in the mood!
