Two Sides Sounding presents AOP25: Living Composers, Living New York in association with American Opera Projects
In celebration of AMERICAN OPERA PROJECTS' 25th Anniversary, new music ensemble TWO SIDES SOUNDING presents a concert of music on the joys and woes of life in the city by AOP-championed composers.
Music by Sidney Boquiren, Daron Hagen, Ray Lustig, Gilda Lyons, Rachel Peters, Peter Wyer plus a sneak peek from Bruce Bailey, a new "urban cantata" by Daniel Felsenfeld & Daniel Neer, commissioned by Two Sides Sounding.
Performers: Eleanor Taylor, soprano Brandon Snook, tenor Daniel Neer, baritone Jorell Williams, baritone Mila Henry, piano Ted Gorodetzky, director and multimedia composition
A limited number of ARTIST, STUDENT and SENIOR tickets will be available for $10 at the door before the concert, on a first-come, first-served basis.
This event is made possible with public funds from the New York State Council on the Arts. In Kings County the Decentralization Program is administered by the Brooklyn Arts Council, Inc. This program is supported, in part, by public funds from the New York City Department of Cultural Affairs in partnership with the City Council.
