It's 1941 and you've been invited to join the Monday night LIVE studio audience to see for yourself what folks in radioland only hear, as the WABB Radio Players present MURDER IN STUDIO ONE. Chock full of live sound effects, zippy commercial jingles, and the 'most requested song' of the week, this show is guaranteed to tug at the heartstrings of those who love the Bronx, baseball, and witty banter. The radio play within the play, MURDER IN STUDIO ONE, is a whodunit following a hard-working private eye and his hardly-working sidekick as they discover who killed Van Crimp, the radio announcer in Studio One.
Written in 1939 by Norman Corwin, Murder in Studio One has been adapted for the stage by Joan Lunoe and Renée Russas. The WABB Radio Players ensemble includes the voice talents of: Corinne Delaney, Robert Fass, Michelle Hendee, Suzanne Hockstein, Tucker Dally Johnston, Joan Lunoe, Dave O'Sullivan, George Roach, and Matthew Russas.
