the Joy of Cheese Presents The 8 Best Goat's Milk Cheeses in NYC
You can't just say "goat cheese" and mean just one thing anymore. There are soft ripened goats, goat cheddars, goat goudas, goat's milk cheeses done in the manner of Tuscan pecorinos, leaf wrapped fresh goats and a whole host of other varieties. On Tuesday May 5th at 6:30 at Nectar Wine Bar, 2235 Frederick Douglass Blvd (121st St.), we will explore the Wonderful World of Chevre. Yes, there will be a fresh chevre (which is what most folks mean when they say goat cheese) but there will many many more varieties in a wide range of flavors and textures. It's just the thing to welcome spring and springtime wines. Admission is $25 and you pay for your wine as you go. We look forward to seeing you there.
