Fair Assembly Presents: FEAST
The project is the culmination of time spent with Barcelona-based Movement Theatre Company, Los Escultores del Aire. Two female founders, Emily Ernst of Fair Assembly and Emily Bernet of Bombshell Dance Company come together to intertwine disciplines and work on a performance piece with live music from a dance and theatre perspective, inspired by the paintings of Spanish painter Roman Casas, and the music and poetry of Shakespeares Twelfth Night. Twelfth Nights late-night revels and overindulgence combined with the restlessness of Casas lead us to something completely new.
