SMPS Foundation Presents: A/E/C Business Development - The Decade Ahead
Don't miss this FREE interactive and educational workshop open to all SMPS members addressing the future of Marketing and Business Development in the A/E/C industry.
About the presentation: The future for non-technical Business Developers and Marketers is questionable, clients want to speak only with technical folk, even the government sector wants more relationship building, don't believe what you hear about the economy getting back to "normal," and the private sector says "we want thought leaders not designer order takers." These are just a few of the trends and forces that we'll discuss during an energetic review of "A/E/C Business Development - The Decade Ahead."
The SMPS Foundation's 15-month research and analysis initiative culminated in the publication of the book in mid-2013. In this work session, designed to accommodate your specific questions, Scott Braley, co-chair of the Foundation's work will review what lies ahead for marketers, business developers and those who sell or buy design and construction services.
About the presenter: Scott W. Braley, FAIA FRSA is Principal Consultant of Atlanta-based Braley Consulting & Training. An active veteran member of SMPS, Scott helps A/E/C firms with strategy, leadership, ownership, marketing, management and project management/delivery.
During his 30 years of A/E/C practice, he was a highly successful "seller/doer" and served as Managing Principal in an international A/E and CM/PM firm that ranked in the ENR "Top 20." He has consulted with literally hundreds of firms throughout North America.
He was a member of the SMPS Foundation Board of Trustees, and served as Co- Chair of the Committee that completed the 15-month long research initiative that culminated in the publication of "A/E/C Business Development - The Decade Ahead."
