The Community Council for Medgar Evers College invites you to join us for an afternoon of laughter, reflection and entertainment.

Our theater party is always a fun event! And the proceeds go to scholarships for deserving students at Medgar Evers College.

FABULATION is a satirical comedy by two-time Pulitzer Prize-winner Lynn Nottage. It's a heartwarming riches-to-rags story about a down-but-not-out entrepreneur and her return to the Brooklyn community she left behind.

We'll step into the world of FABULATION, where ambition collides with reality in a whirlwind of social satire. Join Undine Barnes Calles, a bold and determined African American woman, as she navigates the aftermath of her husbands sudden disappearance and the embezzlement of her fortune. Pregnant and facing the brink of ruin, Undine seeks solace in her childhood home in Brooklyns Walt Whitman projects, only to confront a harsh new truth. In this captivating tale, witness Undines journey as she confronts adversity with wit and resilience, transforming setbacks into triumphs in her quest to reclaim her place in the world. FABULATION offers a hilarious twist on the classic comeuppance story, weaving humor and heart into every scene.
