Punks at Parlor: A Fundraiser for GOLD the Documentary
GOLD the Documentary is a film by award-winning documentary filmmaker Paige Grube. GOLD takes place in and around the Gold Nugget strip club in Spread Eagle, Northern Wisconsin. The Nugget is run by Dusty, who was an exotic dancer in the 90s. Dusty was able to make enough money dancing to become financially stable and leave her abusive husband. The film highlights Dusty's story, as well as touching on the lives of four of the women who currently work at the club.
It's a film empowering women in the sex industry and highlighting all the good that can
come from independence, self-respect, and bodily autonomy. Remember: Sex work is work.
Currently, the film is in post-production were working towards funding to help cover finishing costs for color correction, audio mixing, venue rental fees for the premiere, marketing, and mastering of GOLD the Documentary.
All of the stars of the film will be present and mingling! There will be a limited amount of merchandise available for purchase and a special cocktail menu for the occasion. Beer and wine is available, as well.
Tickets for the event are $25 and 100% of the ticket sales go to GOLD post-production costs, so we can reach our goal of a fall 2024 release. Tickets are available for purchase here and will also be available for purchase at the door, unless we hit our maximum capacity through online sales.

Parlor is located inside Crown and Common. The door for direct entrance is located on the Pomps tires side (Northwest side) of the building. You can also enter through the Crown and Common side and just walk around the back through to the other side.
