Saturday Night Sunday Morning
It'll make you laugh, it'll make you cry; this story of Black, queer sisterhood invites you into a chosen family formed in a post WWII salon. Written by Katori Hall, director Kiya Watson's rendition of Saturday Night Sunday Morning captures the beauty-shop banter of a Black salon while tackling colorism, texturism, and the influence of Memphis, Tennessee on mainstream media and art. The predominately Black cast and crew have worked tirelessly to bring you a beautiful show with an enthralling set, makeup, hair, and costumes. We hope you join us on this journey this March!
