El Mayor Barrel Tasting Dinner with Master Distiller Graciela Gonzalez
Over the past ten years, Little Water Cantina has collaborated with El Mayor to produce several reposado tequila barrels exclusive to us. During that time we have developed a special relationship with the Gonzalez family, and on March 2nd our friend and 4th generation Master Distiller Graciela Gonzalez is flying in from Mexico to take us on a journey from El Mayor blanco through our reposados, and then two very special "Master's Selection" extra anejos! Little Water Chef/Owner Shannon Wilkinson has prepared a 3-course dinner to accompany these fine tequilas.
The evening's schedule:
1. Welcome cocktail and light hors d'oeuvres
2. El Mayor blanco tasting with tequila-cured black cod ceviche and caviar
3. Vertical of LWC's exclusive El Mayor Reposados 2018, 2020 & 2023
4. Main Course: Apple-smoked pork belly chicharron in mole Colorado
5. Master's Collection tasting of two rare Extra Anejos finished in Port and Sherry barrels
6. Tequila Pie with an El Mayor Cristalino Anejo cocktail
We expect to get the evening rolling around 6PM!
