Robbie Fulks House Concert
Singer/songwriter/showman/picker extraordinaire and Bloodshot Records recording artist Robbie Fulks returns to the Roots Hoot House Concerts fold on Friday, April 25, for a 7:30 pm show. Not far removed from his critically acclaimed 2013 release Gone Away Backward which landed on countless year-end best-of lists, Robbie is on a brief East coast swing that lands him in Peace Dale. Ken Tucker on NPR's Fresh Air had this to say about the album: "Gone Away Backward is a work of great, accomplished craft about the pointlessness of crafting anything you care about, because the world is just going to ruin it on you. That is, if you don't ruin it yourself by drinking it away." Be there! Suggested charitable contribution for this show is $22. It is a BYOB-only show. Doors at 7 pm and music starts at 7:30 pm.
