The Mikado - Seattle
For our 61st year, The Seattle Gilbert & Sullivan Society presents THE PIRATES OF PENZANCE, or THE SLAVE OF DUTY. This Gilbert & Sullivan opera is a masterful screwball comedy overflowing with song, dance and hilarity. The operetta tells the story of a kind-hearted band of pirates, naïve maidens, a gullible young man with a slavish devotion to duty, and a properly-educated major general. It's been 9 years since our last production of this gem so don't miss it!
