Refuge
REFUGE by Jessica Goldberg, tells the darkly funny and touching story of a family. Amy, a young woman is forced to care for her younger brother, Nat, a brain tumor survivor and sister, Becca, an Ecstasy-popping needy child after their parents have abandoned them. In a desperate attempt at connection, Amy brings home a drifter, Sam, for a one-night stand. Sam is so lonely and lost that he sees them as his only refuge. REFUGE is a profoundly honest and original look at four young liveslost and unsure of what's ahead, seeking a safe place but uncertain of what safety means. Directed by Bryan Radtke.
