A Best of Capital Fringe 2023 award winner, the show received 5/5 stars from the DC Theater Arts, which called it sexy and hilarious, with gorgeous vocals and stunning burlesque skills.
Diva DLuscious is an Internationally acclaimed opera singer and cabaret performer. She integrates multiples art forms to create darkly comedic takes on classical songs, musical theater, and burlesque. A classically trained singer from the USA, Diva moved to Berlin six years ago as a professional opera singer and discovered her passion for sharing her voice and body in new, unconventional, innovative and scandalous ways.
Dating is hardespecially as a newly human, newly single mermaid. An original and irreverent modern day fairy-tale, straight from the clubs of Berlin, that features six musical burlesque routines interwoven with comedic monologues and multimedia to tell a farcical and heart felt story of love and self discovery.
DLuscious discovers love and lovers in many places but cannot seem to find her Prince, all the while dazzling the audience with her encounters, fabulous costumes, and sensuous strip teases all in pursuit of true love The show is light-hearted and pure fun, with a splash of feminine power and resilience.
