Intro to Tiling - Backsplash/Walls
Come learn how to install a tile wall or backsplash on our Tiny Model House. Our resident expert will walk you through the steps of how to install subway tiles on a drywall surface, from buttering the backs to grouting the seams, along with a few pro tips on how to make wet work more comfortable in cold weather (note that, although our classroom area is not climate-controlled, we will rustle up a space heater or two to help make it a bit cozier).
The fee for this class is based on a sliding scale between $35 - $55 and includes a $15 fee for materials.
Cancellations and Refunds: If you have signed up for a class but are unable to attend, please email info@westphillytools.org to cancel your enrollment. For cancellation requests received at least one week before the class, we will either issue a credit towards a future class, or refund the full ticket price, less service fees collected by Brown Paper Tickets (typically $3 - $5 per ticket). We are unable to guarantee credit or refunds for cancellation requests received less than seven days before the date of the class, although we will do our best to accommodate late cancellations if we are able to fill your spot. Tickets are transferable; please notify us prior to the class at the above email if someone else will be attending in your stead and provide the attendees name and email address.
