A Very Drunken Christmas Carol
Ho, ho, HOLD the eggnog! The Drunken Tenor is back at Seattle Center for a third year with "A Very Drunken Christmas Carol." This year, he takes the stage at Center Theatre with a flask of fresh, fermented fun and new shenanigans hes been brewing. Imagine Charles Dickens meeting a bottomless mimosa brunch. While gearing up for a jolly concert, our friend gets a bonk on the noggin that takes him down a rabbit hole into an alternate reality faster than you can say, pass the punch. As he shakes off the cobwebs, hes greeted not by ghosts but by duet partners from the past, present, and future for a merry cocktail of opera, holiday hits, hilarity, and heart.

The Drunken Tenor is the stage name of Robert McPherson, a Grammy Award-winning Metropolitan Opera tenor. He has a busy international opera career, but also performs as The Drunken Tenor, a mix of opera and sketch comedy. The Seattle Times describes The Drunken Tenor as a "cheerful collision of opera and sketch comedy."
