Staged Readings of Contemporary Canadian Plays - Wildfire
Concordia University Department of Theatre Presents: Staged Readings of Contemporary Canadian Plays Directed by Emma Tibaldo
Get to know Contemporary Canadian plays through a series of Staged Readings. We will make a small dent by looking at four plays by four playwrights.
The fourth and final show is Wildfire by David Paquet, translated by Leanna Brodie.
Content advisory: During this play we will see characters struggle with the effects of generational trauma. There is a description of a suicide that occurred before the events of the play. Additionally, this play contains descriptions of sexual impulses, and sexually explicit language.
The play is 1:15 in length. Each presentation will feature a different cast.
Due to COVID resurgence in the general population, we strongly recommend that the audience wear mask. Masks will be available.
Show Times: Tuesday November 28th @ 7:30pm Thursday November 30th @ 7:30pm - CANCELLED Saturday December 2nd @ 3:00pm - NEW TIME
