Printmaking Workshop
Participants will start with a drawing and turn it into a single-layer linoleum block print. They will also learn the basics of relief printing, including ink mixing, inking the block, cleaning, and safety protocol.
Due to the short nature of this class, you must come in with a black-and-white line-work plan for your linocut. The drawing should be approximately 6"x8" and a backward version of what you want (the cut surface of the block is reversed). Participants will print test proofs as well as ~5 final prints.
