Beautiful the Story Choral Christmas Concert
Vancouver Orpheus presents their Beautiful the Story Christmas concerts for the 2023 Christmas Season. The popular concerts will showcase a cross-section of classic Christmas music, familiar pop tunes by well known artists and surprising renditions of popular carols.
Selections include Mary Did You Know (made familiar by the Pentatonics), a humorous rendition of Oh! Christmas Tree, a rhythmic version of Mary Sat A-Rockin, The beautiful Latin song A la Nanita Nana, the merry Gloucestershire Wassail, Little Saint Nick (from the Beach Boys) and a Song for a Winters Night (in memory of Gordon Lightfoot)
The Orpheus men are widely known for their exquisite sound, broad and varied repertoire and high praise from audience members. Above all, their concerts are fun and express the Joy of Music.
