Drywall Basics

***NOTE: We have heard reports of people receiving error messages when trying to checkout/pay and being unable to complete the signup process. In this class we will cover the basics of hanging drywall, including some hands-on experience. We will talk about estimating and buying materials, what tools are needed, and how to plan out your work ahead of time. Then we will dive in and hang some sheets of drywall on our Tiny Model House frame. Time permitting, we will also be placing the first coat of drywall mud / joint compound and taping the seams with paper tape.

The fee for this class is based on a sliding scale between $40 - $60 and includes a $20 fee for materials.

Cancellations and Refunds: If you have signed up for a class but are unable to attend, please email info@westphillytools.org to cancel your enrollment. For cancellation requests received at least one week before the class, we will either issue a credit towards a future class, or refund the full ticket price, less service fees collected by Brown Paper Tickets (typically $3 - $5 per ticket). We are unable to guarantee credit or refunds for cancellation requests received less than seven days before the date of the class, although we will do our best to accommodate late cancellations if we are able to fill your spot. Tickets are transferable; please notify us prior to the class at the above email if someone else will be attending in your stead and provide the attendees name and email address.
