When the Rivers Ran Red
The Napa County Historical Society invites the public to an intimate luncheon and discussion with Vivienne Sosnowski, author of When the Rivers Ran Red, an amazing story of courage and triumph in AmericaÂs wine country. Ms. Sosnowski will present details of the mighty battle that CaliforniaÂs winemakers forged again Prohibition and the passion imbued in the history of one of AmericaÂs most beloved and romantic industries. Sosnowski is the editorial director of the Washington Examiner, San Francisco Examiner and the Baltimore Examiner. She will grace us with her presence at the Napa County Historical SocietyÂs 61st annual meeting & luncheon on Sunday, May 17, 2009 at 11:30 a.m. at Uva Trattoria, 1040 Clinton Street.
