Hear: Here. site specific explorations of the voice and body
Location, location, location. This four-class workshop focuses on the use of space as initial inspiration. Discover the endless theatrical potential of space and the unique connection of place to story. Challenge old habits. Practice full-body sensing without effort. Explore vocal dynamics within different environments.
The workshop will culminate in a site-specific showing utilizing text, group and solo work.
Each session will utilize The Viewpoints, text and voice and begin with a warm-up integrating voice, body and imagination appropriate to the given environment. Class locations vary per week within San Francisco. No prior experience necessary. Dress to move. Wear comfortable, flexible footwear and layers. First class meets at Z Space, other locations TBA
