The People's Agenda Working fo an Economy by the People, for the People!
The People's Agenda - Working For An Economy By The People, For The People! Wednesday, April 1 7:00PM to 9:30PM (doors open at 6:30pm)
Join the New York Society for Ethical Culture and WBAI Radio for an examination of the economic crisis from the perspective of everyday people. The program will be hosted by Mimi Rosenberg and Ken Nash of WBAI's Building Bridges. The People's Agenda starts with the idea that the struggle for economic rights is the civil rights movement of the twenty-first century and that the solution lies in directly increasing the standard of living for all and abandoning trickle down economics.
Attendees will have the opportunity to record their thoughts and have them sent to the White House. The program will include a special video greeting from Representative Dennis Kucinich and a panel of diverse speakers.
