The AIA Orange County Women in Architecture Committee Presents:

College Students and the Affordable Housing Crisis

California is experiencing a critical shortage of affordable housing for students, forcing millions to decide between paying for education or providing food and shelter for themselves and their families. This panel of local Community College, State College, and University representatives will discuss how local schools are responding to student homelessness and housing insecurity, the need for affordable housing, and plans for the future.

Learning Objectives. Attendees will:

Gain insight into affordable housing issues facing students attending local community colleges and universities.
Discover how schools are addressing student homelessness and housing insecurity and unique programs that have been put in place.
