High Tunnel Building Workshop
Join us for a hands-on High Tunnel Building Workshop with Ellen and Ashley of Frisky Girl Farm on Tuesday, September 26 from 5-7pm. Ellen and Ashley will answer all your questions about site selection, reinforcements, the NRCS grant process, and how to put in thousands of tek screws. They will show you what they have done with both Farmers Friend tunnels and more traditional high tunnels to help them withstand the cruel weather of North Bend. They will talk about the mistakes they have made along the way and how their plans and process have changed. Participants will have an opportunity to ask questions, troubleshoot high tunnel issues with other farmers, and leave with a handout of resources.
