FUNGAL TREASURES OF THE WATERSHED
Learn about mushrooms with naturalist Lee Whitford, who has been teaching mycology for 20 years. The class begins with a brief overview of fungi and a slideshow about their characteristics. Then the group heads into the woods of the Watershed to collect specimens and look at habitats. Finish the day back in the classroom learning identification skills and discussing the specimens found in the field.
