Have you ever wondered what the history of the Great River Road river towns are? Here is your chance to learn about the towns along HWY 35 (S) from Prescott to Nelson. Local historian and Prescott resident Dallas Eggers will delight you with tales along the entire (school) bus tour. There will be stops at Maiden Rock Wayside, Stockholm, Nelson, Pepin (Laura Ingles Wilder), and Maiden Rock Historical Marker. Plenty of time for leg screeches/bathroom breaks, and mind-blowing historical stories. Destination is Nelson Creamery for lunch. Cost for the tour is $30 plus tax, lunch cost (is extra) at the Nelson Creamery.
