The Silver Pass is for those new to the festival and who just want to see what it's all about. Also, with the ability to reserve multiple tickets to the same film, it also grants the best group flexibility at a great price!
Silver Pass Includes:
- 3 Movie Tickets
- Heartland Opening Reception, After-Parties
- Can be used for Movies, Panels, Workshops, Seminars
After you complete your purchase you will be directed to our individual ticket reservation page, where you can select your 3 movie tickets. You can pick 3 tickets to 3 different films or multiple tickets to the same screenings. Whatever fits your movie watching needs!
NOTE: After Monday April 7th, passes will only be available in person at either the Cinemark Palace on the Country Club Plaza or Alamo Drafthouse's Box Office
Passes and reserved tickets for films and events will be available for pickup only at the Cinemark Palace on the Country Club Plaza during regular Box Office hours starting Tuesday April 8th at 2pm.
Single Award Show & Award Party Ticket sales will go on-sale at the Box Office when the Festival Box Office opens on April 8th.

We are excited to announce that the festival has expanded! We will now show films in two venues in the heart of Kansas City.
- Cinemark Palace on the Plaza located at 526 Nichols Rd, Kansas City, MO 64112
- Alamo Drafthouse on Mainstreet at 1400 Main St, Kansas City, MO 64105
All venue information will be listed on the schedule and on all film tickets. Be sure to check either source for correct venue location before each screening.
Silver Pass
Disclaimer
All Festival Pass Holders will be given a Silver Pass the first day they attend the festival. All pass holders MUST have their I.D. with them to obtain the festival Silver Pass. Passes can be picked up at Cinemark Palace on the Plaza. Silver Pass is good for 3 tickets: Included are tickets for movies, panels, and workshops, admittance to the Heartland Reception and regular After-Parties. Restrictions apply. Silver Pass does NOT include Movie with Tasting Events, VIP Guest Reception, The Awards Show, Wadjda Benefit Screening or special screening/events requiring a separate ticket purchase. Festival Pass holders must obtain tickets from the Box Office in advance of each screening they wish to attend. Additionally, people with Silver Festival Passes should plan on arriving early enough to get a seat. A Silver Festival Pass does not guarantee seating. Festival Pass does not guarantee a ticket in the event a film/seminar/pane; sells out and/or the Pass Holder is not seated at least 10 minutes before the film/event is scheduled to begin. Festival Pass Holders must be in their seat by 10 minutes before show time: at that time any unoccupied seats will be released for sale. Festival Pass Holders may pick up tickets ahead of time for multiple shows when time allows, per box office discretion. Festival Pass Holders must show I.D. with their badge and ticket for admittance to all screenings and events.
