2023 REAP Fairbanks House Party
Alaska is at an energy crossroads.
Our Railbelt utilities are projecting gas shortfalls as soon as 2027. Global LNG prices remain volatile and unpredictable. Meanwhile, renewable energy costs are plummeting, unprecedented levels of federal funding are available for clean energy projects over the next 9 years, and our elected leaders have introduced REAP-drafted bills to establish a Renewable Portfolio Standard for the Railbelt and create a state Green Bank to further stimulate investment in clean energy projects across the state.
We must act now to develop our state's vast, local and stably-priced renewable energy resources and secure our shared energy future.
Join REAP staff and your fellow clean energy champions from across the Interior to learn more about how we can meet this moment and how you can support this important work!
